Interesting!...smh!!! In Harford County, MD, twelve Republican central committee positions are up for re-election in 2014. Or at least they should be. In an effort to make liberty and true conservative principles the identity for the Republican Party, Campaign for Liberty (C4L) has been making a difference doing grassroots work throughout an otherwise very blue state. One of their efforts has been to encourage Campaign for Liberty folks to file for Republican central committee positions. As a friend of mine from C4L told me, Some of these central committee seats arent even full, making it a great way for liberty-minded Americans to get involved in local and state politics. Evidently some in the House of Delegates in Annapolis got wind of all of this and have introduced this emergency bill that would essentially change the governance of Harford County, Maryland. The bill gives the “old guard” the power to vote on the removal of members of the central committee and to vote on their replacement. They also make it illegal for a central committee member to hold another office (except themselves, of course). This is dirty politics at its core and the issue is simple… These positions are elected positions, and Harford County voters should decide who fills these twelve seats. Trying to pass an emergency bill is un-American and interferes with our basic tenet of governing ourselves. ________________________________________ Crazy new federal law goes into effect July 1st of this year Now, for the first time ever, one of Americas top financial analysts says we can accurately predict the exact day of the U.S. dollars official collapse. It will coincide with a shocking new Federal law going into effect on July 1st, 2014. What does this law mean and why are even some liberal media calling it a nightmare and disaster. Get the facts here for yourself. You can be among the first to understand the details. Everything you need to know is explained here... _________________________________________ Now the old guard is spinning a web, and you can hear what is being said by listening to this short radio clip. Pat McDonough, one of the Harford County delegates, along with a conservative talk show host attempt to turn this into an instance of conservatives sabotaging other conservatives, an issue I discuss often. But let me be clear… This is not one of those instances. This is an instance of dirty politics, plain and simple. These are elected positions, and the Harford County residents should be able to choose these committee members this year, in 2014, like they have been able to in the past. Once again, thank you for sending me your e-mails. I cant respond individually, but do read and consider all of them. Send your question, comment, or complaint to wendy@theprojecttorestoreamerica. What can the single American voter to do to help stabilize the upcoming economy that is rumored to have some sort of catastrophic downturn around April 2014??? - Anonymous Bidwell comment: You can continue to follow our top picks for the senate candidates for 2014. Im in the weeds getting our campaign together, but it is going to be good. The highly respected Jennifer Duffy of Cook Political Report, an organization many consider the authority for analyzing political races, thinks the political landscape increasingly favors Republicans for the senate seats. Some of the races are being discussed more than others... Minnesota could be in our grasp… Listen to Former Minnesota State Representative Laura Brod fill us in on whats going on in her state by watching this short video. Have you commented previously on the above? If not, please go to conventionofstates and share your views on this attempt to change the way our government works? - Anonymous Olugbemi comment: According to the website, in an attempt to counter big government, the State of Georgia became the first state in American history to pass the Convention of States application to limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government. The passing of this convention gives the State of Georgia what they have always longed for... freedom of self-governance. Meckler states, We expect many more states to follow Georgias lead in the months ahead, after quoting the Georgia State Director for the Convention of States Project, Jacqueline Peterson, who claims that due to this action Georgians have become the hope of the Nation. Will this passing of the Convention and the lighting of the torch of liberty truly convince others in their respective states to rise up for action and continue to pass this torch, thereby countering big government and returning our Nation to both its true potential and the structure intended by the Framers of this Nation? We will update you on any other states that accept the challenge put forth by the State of Georgia.
