Interestingly, I find myself in a state of mental dilapidation. In all honesty, proponents of merit based incentives and promotional structures, in its purest form, tend to lack a full strategic analysis entailing its implementation process. I understand how problematic this lag is due to my desire to have such an ideology phased into American society. Any individual and/or organization involved in critiquing this assessment solely with the goal of repudiating the concept of a structure that encourages merit based guidelines should fully understand the implications of such an argument. I actually find it pathetic, in nature, to have such systems that uphold the idea of exclusivity. I try to approach these concept of exclusivity and its staunch supporters with logic and emotional indifference. Yet I am consistently finding myself in a countering position looking at those who speak of minorities and their abuse of the American welfare system and seeking, from them, an explanation for their unabashed infatuation with "the good ole boy system" and free or meager compensation for those who occupy the working class. These topics are somehow conveniently different from minorities seeking recompense from a system that barely acknowledges their efforts, their skill-set, and desire to fulfill daily duties to promote and strengthen the economy. You cannot have it both ways!
