International company seeks the following candidates 2 QC Inspectors Job Specification To ensure manufactured components are executed by approved vendors in compliance with applicable engineering specifications, issued drawings and agreed project quality plan (PQP) with all related QA/QC documentation. Control inspection activities and interfacing with expediting to afford timeous delivery of equipments and products. Continuously verify suppliers’ quality system conformance. RESPONSIBILITIES : Attending internal and external project quality kickoff meetings with Quality Engineer. Thorough reviewing of suppliers’ quality documentation. Liaison with client representatives and third party inspectors as required by the QCPs and ensure the presence of client representatives at release inspections or as required by the client. Providing regular feedback about the supplier’s quality system conformance condition and calibration of suppliers measuring equipment and machinery. In-process and final inspection of components for conformance to applicable engineering specifications, issued drawings and agreed project quality plan (PQP) with all related QA/QC documentation. Progressive reviewing of data book compilation and final data book review prior to release. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Suitable trade qualification (Boilermaker OR Fitter & Turner). Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience post trade, with 5 years quality control experience. General heavy engineering and drive system (gear boxes and open gearing) functional experience will be advantageous. Foundry inspection knowledge will be advantageous. SAIW level II fabrication inspector. SAIW level I NDE inspector – UT, MT, PT will be advantageous Competent in report writing. Computer literacy – word and excel as minimum.
