Interpreting the Bible Isaiah 24 21-end Lesson 21. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth. “Host of the high ones” refers to all those who are leaders of the civilizations that fill the earth, for instance the Roman legislature and the Roman armies from the generals all the way down to the regular soldiers, along with the Caesar or Kiser they followed all the way through the “fall of the Roman empire,” right into WWI, when the Kiser of Germany was defeated, and of course from that came Hitler and WWII, as Hitler was trying to reinstate the “Roman Empire” into his “third Reich” that was to last for a thousand years, but couldn’t make it through the first hundred, because he abandoned God and God’s commandments. Hitler still suffers today for all the things he brought upon the world, and is still with us with the Muslim’s persecution and hatred for their brothers the Jeues. 22. And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited. If you want to find them, they are with us still, just look anywhere in the world where there is war, hunger, and famine, disease that ravages thousands, like Africa with its fight against aids, greed and corruption, and of course the middle East, and North Korea, one of the last centers of what is truly a nation of despots, an obvious place of fulfilling of this prophecy. Their day of visitation is coming, just as China’s is beginning. When looking for them, we must not forget that God, in the presence of His guardian angels are there, going through the same trials and tribulations, but with the comfort and knowledge that is available through the Holy Spirit to comfort them and to give them the courage to carry on, for the sake of the Kingdom and the souls they love who are suffering, as they have caused others to suffer. 23. Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the Lord of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously. That is not worded very well, but it is accurate. The moon is a parable for Jesus and the sun a parable for God and when searching for that “host of the high ones” who are in that “pit” one thing becomes obvious they have abandoned God, and He is hard to find in places like Africa, the middle East, China and North Korea. He is there, but He is really in hiding in the lives of those who suffer there. The word “when” places the translation into the Babylon or confusion of the false theologies that have dominated the Christian faith for 1700 years. If we correct that word, to the word intended by the author, then the verse makes more sense. This is how it should read: 23. Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, until the Lord of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously. The starting “then” remains because of the time when this verse was written. It was still well in the future, and that condition still reigns, God and Jesus are still not fully understood, even those who worship Him do so not fully understanding the God they worship because the world is dominated by the false theology that God unleashed upon the world to aid Him in cleansing the world of evil. By changing the translated word, “when,” to the correctly translated word, “until” then the point that the confusion and confounding caused by the absence of the truth of God will disappear when God reigns in their life, creating a beautiful life which will begin with the knowledge of God, which is the correct meaning of “Mt. Zion,” and of course Jerusalem “ a life created to return to drink of life married,” will cover the world. Then we have the “ancients” they are the angels who have been walking this world since long before the time of Abraham, and have invested over 10,000 years in the process of cleansing this world of evil, and they will continue until their work is complete.
