Interstellar Movie is more of a visually breathtaking and emotionally satisfying experience, rather than a cerebrally taxing one ,unlike Nolans labyrinthine Inception ...Ill summarise it in one line......Hope is what keeps u in pursuit while love transcends the barriers of space and time :-) ......... In some ways it is more of a laymans guide to trivial aspects of modern theoretical physics including Relativity ,like the Time dilation Twin paradox , Wormholes and not exactly the fifth dimension, I guess.... though they term it dat way for non specialists....... from the perspective of a literate layman ,with some experience at grappling with higher dimensions atleast mathematically, I would say that...it is rather the fourth among Spatial dimensions (in a Tesseract) complementing a Second Temporal Dimension (time)....... rather than the less known 5th spatial(space) dimension, which will exist in only say a structure that comes after our 3dcube and the 4dhypercube(tesseract) ..though they refer to it as the fifth dimension ...... just as time as such ,is the fourth dimension(first temporal dimension) ,in our world of 3 spatial(space-as in left-right up-down and top-bottom) dimensions.......... But the success of the movie lies in the fact that it works at an emotional level...and the nolan touch or non linearity which exists in most of his movies gets a new meaning for the first time......the very non linearity of time in our cosmos is considered this time around........I guess that is the ultimate pun where art merges with nous and the actual spectacle in itself achieves ethereal proportions ............ go ahead and watch it for some relief from our mundane existence in a 3d Spaceland ....
