Introducing Red Flower! Red Flower is a botanical, vegetarian, paraben-free aromatherapy and body care line based out of New York City. They derive inspiration from world traditions, rituals, and are focused on sustainability and well-being. Their products have been sold in Barneys and their Wanderlust line will be carried in first class cabins of American Airlines flights. I chose Red Flower because I enjoy relaxation rituals, holistic approaches, and aromatherapy, but environmental responsibility and global awareness are also important to me. It was also imperative that the lines I carry were American and that the products were made in America. (As a consumer, I dont discriminate across national boundaries, but as a business owner, I really do want to support my own brethren.) Quality was also important, so I looked for lines that used only the highest quality essential oils, extracts, and certified organic ingredients. Et voila!--Red Flower was the one! Red Flowers signature aromas include blends called Icelandic Moonflower, Indian Jasmine, French Lavender, Ocean, Italian Blood Orange, and Spanish Gardenia. They turned out to be high quality, sophisticated blends that evoked far more than their namesake--they evoke ideas rather than just literal translations.
