Investigators graduated from the Crime Management College Kabul, August 2014. After five week of intensive studies 34 investigators, among them one woman, have graduated from the 7th Core Investigator Programme which was conducted at the Crime Management College (CMC). Among the guests at the graduation ceremony in Kabul were Colonel Essa Mohammad, Head of the CMC, Colonel Isa, the Deputy Head of the Afghan National Police Academy (ANPA) and Ulf Dieter, the Mentor to the Head of Crime Management College. Furthermore over 200 students of ANPA attended the ceremony. The main focus of the training was on crime scene management, investigative interviewing, evidence gathering, intelligence for crime investigators and professional practices. The course was based on the plans of the Afghan Ministry of Interior (MoI) and organised by CMC for the capacity building of the investigators. Colonel Essa Mohammad emphasised the importance of the training programme on criminal investigation skills: “The skills these investigators learned during the five-week course are very much needed to ensure that their collection of evidence from crime scenes stands up in court.” For more pictures click here: https://flickr/photos/eupolafgmedia/sets/72157646343982470/
