Is it my imagination, but did I read something about the song - TopicsExpress

Is it my imagination, but did I read something about the song Reflections of My Life by The Marmalade in my phone messages from one of my Facebook friends, only to come online and find not a trace of it, nor a shred of evidence! Now we all know that Im mad, Ive always been mad, and I after all should know that, but I am completely sane for a stark raving bonkers nut job! Honest!!!! Anyway that particular song in my humble opinion is a very beautiful and classic song! One of my many personal favourites. Even quite pertinent at the moment as I have been reflecting very deeply about my life. (Many of my closest friends out there will understand this next bit - its VERY DEEP AND SPIRITUAL for me) Am in the middle of a late night walk around my adopted hometown (village) of Tirau, but for a variety of reasons that have compounded more and more as the years have gone by, and with a particularly strong force which started a couple of years ago, and has got particularly intense over the last 10 days or so, I am feeling pulled more and more back to the land of my birth, England! I havent left NZ since my family emigrated here when I was 11 going on 12 in 1972, but my desire to go back is just getting stronger and stronger! What is really blowing my mind is the realisation that if I ever do leave NZ I dont think I will want to come back! New Zealand is definitely my adopted country, and I am a legal NZ Resident, but........I am still an English Citizen, and I still consider myself to be English!!! I just think that maybe Im meant to die in England and be buried/scattered in England! As usual I cant resist saying Maybe Its Because Im A Londoner Well maybe it is? Time will tell!!!!! I know in my heart and soul that it is definitely a spiritual thing going on, and maybe its time for this middle aged teenager to go on an adventure and seek his fortune, but I hope if I do go I can smuggle my beloved companion Puss Puss with me. Ok soppy sentimental ravings over from this soppy SNAG, but all food for thought, which by the way has absolutely nothing to do with UB40!! :-)
