Is winning that important.... YES!!! Read below to understand what WINNING really is!! So what does it truly take to “win” against the one thing that can stop you from achieving the results you truly deserve? I can personally tell you that winning 5 World Body Sculpting Championships wasn’t an accident but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Let’s face it, winning is a nice result for many people who choose to train and compete in anything that requires hard work, determination and above all a commitment to the end goal. Winning doesn’t necessarily mean you cross the line first or take home the trophy, winning can take on a whole new perspective if you choose to win the fight against yourself. For some people, just getting up on stage, or participating in their chosen event or becoming fit and healthy is “winning” and this is the greatest win of all. Too many people compare themselves to others in an attempt to gauge their success and so many times I see people set themselves up for disappointment over and over. To truly win, is to win at “life”. So what separates those who continue to win that fight with those that give up before they really ever reach their true potential? It’s the one thing that only those that truly want to “win at life” possess…..It’s the “desire” to be “better”. The desire to see what you’re made of, the desire to achieve something remarkable, the desire to never give up, the desire to push yourself when you’ve got nothing left, the desire to NEVER FAIL. Desire is the single most important thing that allows people who achieve at life and possess the ability to never give up. If you never give up, then you can never fail. It’s such a simple concept but one that so many never fully appreciate. There’s always an excuse for those that give up when the going gets tough. It’s what separates those that ultimately “win against themselves” and those that don’t. If you always do what you’ve always done (give up), you’ll get the same result you always did! (FAIL) The single most important thing you’ll ever do, is make a promise to yourself that you’re worth it!! Believe in yourself, train hard, keep fit and LOVE life!
