Isaiah 44:3, NKJV For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, and My blessing on your offspring; Pray the Promises for Back to School The criterion that God gives before He will pour out His Spirit is that there must be a desire for the Spirit---thirsty land. While God does not force himself on people, our prayers can help a person see their need and make them thirsty for God. The public school campuses of America are dry ground. Pray this prayer for the schools in your area, Lord, You said You would pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; and that You would pour out Your Spirit on my offspring, and Your blessing on my children. I ask that You would pour out Your Spirit on (insert name of school). May those who work on this campus and attend this campus as students experience the power of Your Spirit.
