Islam Today is a sacred day to Moorish Americans and a day all Moors should be honoring the transcending of Prophet Noble Drew Ali. His spirit departed the plane of flesh July 20, 1928. Without him, the history of my people here in North America would forever have been kept hidden from them. I rise to my highest heights and give perfect praises to Allah for sending us our Prophet. He alone gave us back our nationality and history that allows us to trace ourselves and reattach ourselves to the human family and nations of the earth. He gave us back our birthright, flag, divine creed, Our God, title to our vast estate, Out titles of nobility of El and Bey, and gave us the power to save ourselves. The highest honors to this man whom the world has yet to get to know. You hear about every major black leader in history from Garvey, Malcolm X, Elijah Muhammad to Martin Luther King Jr. But this man who had such a great influence on our people is still not widely known. This day is a sacred day to All Moorish-American Moslems and for those of you who may not have remembered, its okay. Just do something in honor of the man who sacrifice his entire life to giving us everything it takes to save a nation. -With that I say peace
