Istanbul is burning! and CNN international is the only media that broadcasts from Taksim Square and Gezi Park. The mayor of Istanbul almost declared a state of emergency warning all the people in Gezi park to leave. there is no light and electricity now. People that are wounded and extremely affected by the tear gas are continuously brought to the infirmaries (as the ones brought to the hospitals are taken into custody). The police is not entering the park but continously gasing people around which directly affects the Gezi Park. But still people are gathering on different directions and try to go into the square. please call your turkish embassies and other international media to stop police brutality!
