Ran to watch The Maze Runner last night with my sister. What did I have in my pocket to suck on and eat? Apricot kernels. I cracked them on the front porch with a hammer just before heading to the theater. They are bitter. They are really bitter. It does one good to suck on something bitter. Its not too bad to have a mouthful in as you sit in a theater. That way you need not open your mouth and have time to just suck on them, which helps them to be minimally bitter when you finally chew them up after 30 minutes to a few hours, however long you can keep from chewing them up and swallowing them down.
