It always makes me sad when the boys go back to school, which they do tomorrow. I really enjoy our summer days together. Its convenient that on a night Im feeling a little blue, I finally remember to dig up those class pictures KFVS has been asking for to include in our Back to School slide show on FaceBook. If these pictures cant make me laugh, nothing will. In the event that you need a good chuckle, I give you my school pics from 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 12th grades. A couple of disclaimers: we lived in Guam when I was in 5th & 6th grades, where the focus was on fun, sun, and sand--obviously not on hair or clothes. I think I was going for the David Cassidy (I did love him after all). I couldnt look more like a boy. Thanks mom and dad. Did no one see me going out the door looking like this? Haha. Second disclaimer: the 9th grade pic (the swooping bowl cut with some sort of weird flip on the left side) was the first time any one other than my mother---who is NOT a licensed cosmetologist (but I didnt really have to tell you that, did I? See 8th grade bangs)---cut my hair. For all of you 40 and younger, trust me, this is how everyone looked back then. Right? (That question is for those 40 and older). Please say yes. :)
