It amazes me how many people still dont know this in 2015. 24 hour flu is not a flu. It is highly unlikely to spread via contact, unless the infected has poop or puke on their hand, or cough it into your mouth, or you share something they put their contaminated juices on. Sources of this not-a-flu vary greatly, but the symptoms are just about the same every time, as is the source of contamination: food or drink. As likely as it is for me to get the flu working food service, it seems more likely I will simply continue getting gastroenteritis from eating at places like Burgerking, or like last time, not making sure my taco meat was cooked properly before I ate it 3 days later, cold, on a salad. There is also that potential the ice cream was the culprit. Unlikely, but I think many of us remember very well all the issues Schwans has had over the years.
