It appears there is only one final solution to the problems relative to drug trafficking - eliminate the drug offenders. The old excuse that capital punishment is not a deterrent does not hold water then and it does not now. It may not deter but if carried out in proper cases, will certainly prevent an offender from coming back. Whatever the bleeding-heart liberals say, the realities are that these incorrigible criminals are beyond redemption and the government cannot continue wasting taxpayers money just to house, feed, and secure them - money that can be used for beneficial purposes. As shown in this editorial, mere imprisonment as punishment for these convicts is a welcome joke that they relish and profit from.
