It has been 11 days since the following proposal was brought before the Council: Begin sending out all government communications, such as announcements about new laws, in all three official languages (English, French, German), using translate/ or other translation help if needed. The weekly video and other spoken-word communications would be immune from this law for the time being, due to pronunciation issues and the loosely-scripted nature of the weekly video. The motion ended with 3 votes for and 0 votes against. Therefore, the proposal is now law. All government communications after this one and excluding spoken-word communications for the time being must now be in all three official languages.
