It has been 8 months since my dad got the news stage 4 lung cancer, every holiday since has been a blessing. My dad has taught us about commitments, family and has taught us all about work ethics. I am so proud of the husband , father, and grandfather he is. People comment that because of h I s age that he has had a good life and they are right he has, but that does not m as keep that any easier for us to deal with, he is my dad. Today pink heals came out to his house escorted by the Tisch Mills fire department. What a emotional afternoon and awesome to see this honor given to my dad. Being that he is a retired volunteer fireman and having them do a escort with all the lights and sirens going. It meant alot. This is what living in a small town is all about. Thanks to everyone involved for bringing some happiness to my family today.
