It has been a very busy weekend for me.........ended up cleaning the entire house from top to bottom and I mean I did some major cleaning by dusting everything in the house, mopping every piece of floor that wasnt carpet, vacuumed every piece of flooring that has carpet, and finally got caught up on all the laundry in the house. I just got done typing two paragraphs in order to get financial aid and assistance for membership to the Phi Theta Kappa program. I have been asked to join this club every semester that I have attending college at Northeast State but I have never had the one-time membership fee that you have to pay to be a member which is $75 and I know that doesnt seem like a lot of money to most of u, but to this household that is quite a bit of money, so I am hoping I will be one of the people they choose to help pay for the membership so I can receive that extra diploma, tassel, and sash to go with my cap and gown during graduation on May 2015. I had to write 2 paragraphs on why I make the perfect candidate for the financial assistance and I told them in a nutshell that I am a mother of three daughters and have managed to maintain a perfect 4.0 GPA for the past 2 years that I have attended NES. I hope that my 2 paragraphs were good enough to get me the help I need cause I do realize what a honor it is to be asked to be a member of an exclusive group like Phi Theta Kappa and I know that if I am a member of this organization that it will look good on a resume when I go to get a job with my 2 degrees :) Anyways, a new episode of the Walking Dead comes on tonight and I am super psyched and pumped about it so I am going to get the girls cleaned up and ready for bed so we can watch the most awesome television program in history :) Much love to each and everyone of u
