It has been several days since we reported the mistake which we made in issuing refunds to our customers who purchased trees by credit card. 300 refunds were made to customers and many customers received partial refunds on amounts that I cannot explain. We have been fortunate for the amount of exposure we have had regarding our problem from the local media , Facebook, friends and strangers . We truly appreciate all of this help! Our customers who have received the refund are also responding in the way I assumed they would. Theyre sending in checks or allowing us to recharge their credit cards. This is going to take some time for this issue to be resolved because some credit card statements have not been received for customers to review them. The response has been unbelievably positive and Im proud of the number of calls Ive received from our customers. Every one of them who found an improper refund on their statement promised to repay that amount. Everyone. This has turned out to be a positive experience as our community is pulling together.
