It is Monday morning and I am thankful for the sunshine and the beautiful misty fog rising off the lake. It is frosty outside this morning. Brrr. The weekend flew by, but I am thankful for it anyway. I am thankful for a powerful musical testimony meeting in Portland and for a wonderful meeting with their Relief Society presidency yesterday. I am thankful for a car that works well, and for a safe trip there and back. I am thankful for talks from General Conference that I listened to down and back. If you havent heard the talk that Elder Uchtdorf gave during the Priesthood session - I highly recommend it. I am thankful for hymn, scriptures, and prayers with John and for another chapter read aloud in the No 1 Ladies Detective Agency Book that we are enjoying so much. I am thankful for a pretty tough lesson in seminary from the Isaiah chapters in 2nd Nephi. I had a hard time understanding and remembering all of the Old Testament history - but we got through it and I think we did a pretty good job of pulling out the principles are relevant in our lives. I am thankful for another day to live and a chance to make better choices and to accomplish a little more than yesterday. I am going to try to trust in the Lord a little more today and to be a little more thankful for the blessings that I have received. I am thankful for the PacknPlay that Amy Fader Levasseur gave Eliza yesterday. It is a nice one and now Michaela has a place to sleep. I am off to live my Monday!
