It is a day with lots of mixed emotions. We dropped off Mickey at his college. For him new dorm room, new friends, new and exciting things to explore. For me and Mita coming back home to not find him in the room is a strange feeling. But I guess we will have to get used to this. He took his favorite chair with him. Peeking into his study and not finding the chair and him is surreal. But this is life. We wish him the very best. The whole day was so well planned at claremont. We got him settled in his room. He has a very nice room mate. His name is Siri. The new students all leave for a 3 day excursion tomorrow morning and orientation continues for all of next week. There were lots of tears during the goodbye sessions. We have an empty nest.
