It is a shame the answer to bad prison governance is more prisons, or is it? The problem is that we have been putting the wrong people in jail, imo. Instead of jailing the mother for selling her body so she can afford milk for her unplanned child, we should have jailed the rapist who impregnated her at age 15, but he was connected and she was not. That is far too often the case in this world. Instead of jailing the homeowner who uncovered the fraud, we should jail the appraisers, lenders, brokers, servicers, and lawyers who perpetuated the fraud as well as the judges who gave the fraud their seal of approval. America can fix its corrupt Broken Judicial Branch by putting the right people in jail on a regular basis. Use the laws to protect the public from abuses of public trust, not to protect abusive public officials including crooked cops and politicians.
