It is awful to hear of the loss of any horse, but thanks to FB I just got wind of the loss of one of the horses at Honeydew Equestrian Centre. When I hear awful news like this, especially so close to home, it only makes me realise once again that life in itself is fleeting. Which is what makes it so beautiful and precious but that value also makes it so very hard to see it slip away. My deepest condolences go out to Martinique Van Der Westhuizen and all those at HEC who are grieving. I really am so sorry. My prayers are with Kwaaihoek, may he run forever free and at peace with the herds in the sky.
