It is fast approaching the time I must say good night to all my family and friends. I am very happy to say I got my SUV back today. It makes me happy because it is clean inside and out and do not smell of cigarettes. My lungs are hurting so bad from being in cars that is over powered with the smell of burned cigarettes. Our doctor told my husband and I that we are healing faster then he thought we would and that is a good thing. O Lord Jesus Christ, patient sacrificial Lamb, You are the holy atonement-offering for all my sins, yet not just for mine alone, but also for the sins of the whole world! I thank You once again that You have kept me in body and soul under Your divine protection this day. I beseech You graciously to pardon and forgive all the sins I have committed this day out of the weakness of my corrupted nature and from the encouragement of the evil one. They are a heavy burden and press upon my heart and conscience. As I prepare to lie down to rest and sleep, stretch out Your wings of grace over me. Help me, that I might sleep under them in peace and rest according to the body, yet according to the soul be ever awake and inclined to You, being ever mindful of Your majestic future advent at the final judgement. Strengthen me to wait upon You with heartfelt sighs until that time when I shall blessedly depart from here to be with You. To that end, help me, O Faithful Savior, You who, with the Father and Holy Spirit, are most highly praised unto all eternity. Amen
