It is getting to that time of year when colds and flu abound. Please remember that the runny nose, the cough and the fever are all the ways that your body has of eliminating what your body doesnt like (the bacteria). Before you run to the medicine cabinet, try sweating the cold out so that you are working with your body to rid it of the toxin. Start by gargling multiple times a day when you feel a cold coming on. If this proves unsuccessful, get a bucket and fill it with water 3/4 of the way up your calf. Add dry mustard to it. Make the water as hot as you can possibly stand it and put your feet in. Keep filling the bucket with hot water. Do this for 20-30 minutes. Keep a blanket wrapped around you during this process. Once finished, get quickly into bed so you stay warm. Have extra covers on the bed so that you are very warm all night to sweat the cold out. **Should you find that you are having problems catching your breath, or your chest feels unusually heavy, make your way to the doctor.
