It is good, and necessary, for those who serve Jesus to remember this verse of Scripture. How easily we become disgruntled when we are weary ... arent verbally confirmed/recognized ... Fix our eyes upon those who are not serving rather than on Him whom we serve. Weary? All who faithfully serve experience weariness, so be prepared. Verbally confirmed/recognized? All who serve need to be encouraged, but we should not need to be recognized. Where we fix our eyes? They should remain fixed on Jesus who served us with His own life-blood. The moment we take our gaze off of Him is the exact moment we will sink into the pit of complaining against others who serve less than we do. WE SERVE THE LORD ... and, with Him, our service does not go unnoticed. Indeed, our rewards await us and He will be faithful to bestow them upon us in due time. Therefore, let us not grow weary in doing good ... FOR THE LORD.
