It is hard finding a way to adequately express my appreciation for - TopicsExpress

It is hard finding a way to adequately express my appreciation for the blessings shown to my family these last two difficult years. But I want to try... I have been so amazed by the kindness and generosity from many, many of you. Since day one we have felt surrounded with love and prayers and action. LOTS of action. Massive amounts of action. It can be very difficult to face someone you remember to be a certain way, yet you know for sure that when you see them again things will be way different. But you have come anyway. And, I have no doubt that after you spent a short time with my mother, you realized that she is actually the same beautiful, caring, sophisticated lady you always knew. Playing a card game with your lady friends might have been easier and quicker without a lady in a wheelchair who has to use an alphabet card to communicate, yet you invited her anyway. It isnt easy to place a phone call to someone who cant talk back, but you called. And you keep calling. And you tell her all about your life and your world, because you know my mom would be asking you all about those things if she could speak. A hospital isnt a fun place to hang out, yet you went and hung out anyway. Then there was the man. The man who needed to cry and talk. And you took the time to listen and encourage. And you did it over and over. Because you are special and you do hard things. And the food. How many times have you dropped a little something by for my dad? I would mention you by name. So many of your names are running through my heart. But if I neglected to mention one of you, well, it just wouldnt be right. So, it is you. And you. And you. And you and you and you. And I love you. And I will continue to thank you for the way you will support us through your words and prayers and actions. I know you will be present in more ways than I can imagine.
