It is impossible to reconcile with people who protest over a police officer shooting and killing someone who points a gun at the officer at a gas station outside St. Louis. It is just impossible. In fact, there are feral beings committing atrocious acts and the (violent) protests over fictional police mistreatment will lead to greater shows of police force which will be completely justified. Why? Because supporting thugs operating against society is not protest; it is more like mayhem. There is nothing noble in that. A peaceful assembly is one thing. Assaulting individuals who represent law and order in our society is not a protected right. Nor should it EVER be. The police are showing too much restraint. It is time to crush the mayhem. Start at the top. Boycott New York City, dont spend a dime there as an outsider, until De Blasio is no longer Mayor. If a case can be made, arrest Al Sharpton for some inchoate offense, perhaps solicitation of murder of the police officers, conspiracy, embezzlement, extortion, or at least tax evasion, for crying out loud. Send in the bulls to local offices of the SEIU and the other labor organizations supporting this criminality. Shut them down. Expect civil disturbances and let private and public forces stop them using all necessary force. Things are coming to a head, and in the case of those inciting violence against people including our police and damage to property, may those things be nightsticks. Then dial it down to normal levels.
