It is now time to have our own curriculum!!! It has been 45 years now that our schools have been using the govt Ministry of Education (Study Syllabi). To me personally, If still still runs te tau he mei he Elito ‘o e ako (education) ‘a ia ko hono hakeaki’i ‘a e kakai (building people). Ko e faingamalie eni ki he ngaahi akoanga a e siasi ke tau develop mo design pe ha’atau curriculum taauth that can address the needs of our church members and needs of students that are studying at our Schools. This includes academic learning ka kuo pau ke tau tanaki atu ki ai mo e ngaahi ako kehekehe te ne ‘oange ‘a e faingamalie ki he’etau fanau ako ke nau live a lively and productive life within the boundary of our values and beliefs. I believed that Curriculum initiates from values and beliefs (hidden Curriculum) pea mafao mei ai ki he skills ‘I he ngaahi lesoni ako kehekehe ‘o kau ai ‘a e Spiritual and Behavior, Culture and Heritage, Academic, Technical and Vocational.
