It is one very fine evening here in Meadows of Dan, VA -- cat is purring on my lap, the meadows are green, the clothes dried quickly on the line, Ive made a trip to town and convinced myself Im not in Florida anymore! It was a beautiful wedding and we are so happy to have Lauren as part of our family. As you see in the photo of the wedding (the Almonds), we have grown with new generations....the sibs and I are the old folks now....the great aunties and grandparents. And we love it! I even spent one day at Epcot with a nine year old, two three year olds and a six month bundle of joy....and their parents, of course! We packed a lot into a few days. Swimming, eating, lots of chatting and tons of laughter. I know my parents were smiling down at us as we came in from Colorado, North Dakota, Virginia, West Virginia, D.C., Tenn. - and Araceli had just flown in from the Philippines -- making the effort to keep the family as they would imagine and expect....loving and caring for each other.
