It is shameful and absolutely disgusting when incidents like these happen in a city like bangalore. Being from this city, I always thought it was one of the safest places in India. But the recent cases only prove otherwise. And being abducted from right in front of your house is even worse. This country needs more stringent laws! We should be able to give justice to the victim, which also instills some fear in the minds of these perverts. But unless the society changes nothing else will! Stop asking ridiculous questions about what the girl was doing outside at 12, or what she was wearing, or whether she did something to provoke the oh-so-innocent men!! And please do us a favour. Yes were girls, and yes, you never fail to remind us that. But no, we dont want to stay within the four walls of the house only because were scared to get out. We want to live life on our terms, even if it means wearing short clothes and coming home after 10 in the night.
