It is so funny, I think, that no matter what I say people argue against me (some argue in a way that I find excellent (you know who you are), while others do not). I always try to base my philosophy on safe and established facts, like the fact that an essential mechanism to account for evolutionary history is Natural Selection. Apparently I am a stooge for saying that. The funny thing is that I am not a biological reductionist (I am agnostic on the issue of consciousness). But I do see the history of evolution being unexplainable without Natural Selection. And therefore man at his essence is forged in the fires of "survival of the fittest."
