It is time to smarten up and solve this problem with Common Sense and with dispatch. Here is an idea that CPOWER has been discussing since the last primary, both publicly in CPOWER meetings on numerous occasions and privately with former candidates, concerning the last primary, the divisions amongst We The People and the subsequent, inevitable loss to Mr. Tillis and further, how to avoid this in the future. When Greg Brannon skyped into our CPOWER meeting on the 9th of October of this year, this exact proposed solution was addressed to him and his response was interesting to say the least! The problem CANNOT be solved by the voting public as there will always be supporters of each candidate and division will remain the order of the day. There is no sense in a losing candidate dragging lots of people with him / her to the very end. The solution lies within the candidates themselves, whereas, they must agree that if the polling shows a clear leader (the only candidates that will be considered in THIS scenario are Constitutional Conservatives) the ones who are NOT in the lead will withdraw and pull all of their support and resources to the one who is in the lead. A series of debates will be held online and polling among so called TEA PARTY groups, not establishment GOP groups, will be held on a regular basis until an appropriate time in front of the primary. This process must start NOW with the eligible candidates so that a clear frontrunner(s) will come to the forefront early so we can begin a successful statewide or district as the case may be, campaign. The key is for the candidates to agree to put their country first and their individual egos last. This will be a very difficult process to figure out, however, the result will give us ONE person who we all can support though he or she will most definitely NOT be perfect. Undoubtedly we will end up with better representation than what we have now. This is my input and hopefully it will grow into something that yields Representatives and Senators the Founding Fathers would be pleased with. Id like to hear your thoughts and hopefully someone with superb organizational abilities will consider this as a basis to begin a solution to this devastating problem.
