It is very obvious that Manohar Parrikar has gone overboard in the Tejpal case. The personal interest, the speed and the enthusiasm to nail Tejpal and keep him in jail has been too much. I am saying it openly here. And if anyone is saying it, that in no way reflects the fact that they are sympathizing with Tejpal or with his alleged crime. Why is this specific personal interest in one case while a total apathy in the Vasco rape case or other cases such as mining? Fairness in justice means that irrespective of the alleged perpetrator, all the crimes of a specific kind have to be treated the same. In this BJP raj, the way FIRs are taken when filed against BJP opponents, while not take when filed against pro-BJP guys, one doesnt need a rocket scientist to conclude that law is being used to target those who are against the regime or are speaking against the regime.
