It is with a sad heart that I want to tell everyone that my Father John A. Habel has passed away peacefully this morning at his home My Mother, an aid and myself at his side. I performed CPR till emergency personnel arrived I would like to thank the Police officer that responded minutes after my mother called 911 and the men & woman that responded from the Altoona Fire Station. They tried their best to revive him to no avail. I guess the lord wanted another Angel in Heaven. My Mom has taken care of him for quite a while, Now he can look down and watch over her. Tomorrow my Mother & I will go to Covenant Funeral Home to make arrangements. The wake will be Thursday Evening with Burial on Friday @ Quantico National Cemetery.
