It is with deep sympathy that we inform you of the passing of a Spellman faculty member, Sister Dominic Condon, CSJ. Below you will find Sister Dominics obituary and arrangements. On behalf of the entire Spellman family, we extend our prayers to all who knew and loved Sister Dominic. Sister Dominic joined Spellman’s faculty on August 15, 1976. She taught History and retired in June 1998. She remained at Spellman until December 8, 2007. After Sister Dominic’s retirement she was the #1 volunteer in the Advancement Office. Sister Dominic Condon, CSJ, in her 71st year as a beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, died Sunday, July 6, 2014. Devoted daughter of the late Patrick and Ellen (Donovan) Condon, and sister of the late Catherine C. Waldron, John E. Condon, Joseph P. Condon, and Mary Margaret Burke. Sister Dominic is survived by her loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Formerly missioned as a teacher at St. Matthew School, Dorchester; St. Ann School, Somerville; St. Rita School, Boston South End; St. Paul School, Cambridge; St. Theresa School, West Roxbury; Cathedral High School, Boston; and Cardinal Spellman High School, Brockton. Sister Dominic also served as Principal at St. Brendan School, Dorchester. Visiting hours at Holy Spirit Chapel, Bethany Health Care Center, 97 Bethany Road, Framingham, Thursday, July 10, 2014, 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Prayer Service at 10:15 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass and Prayers of Final Commendation at Bethany, Thursday, July 10, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Natick, MA.
