It just got harder to help those that are hungry. Effective November 1, there was a 5% cross the board cut to SNAP by the federal government. Meaning local food pantries will be called on to do more to help bridge the gap. Traffic at the Giving Garden is up significantly. But you can help. Encourage your employer to donate to the cause with a year end gift. Your company could help also thru sponsoring either an annual food drive or sponsor one of our events.
