It seemed like a bit of a crazy plan. Im going to Mexico so why would I fly when I can try and travel by land and sea; Im not in a hurry.... so Im in Las Palmas trying to boathike and thanks to the kindness of strangers and a series of fortunate events I have found a boat and a lovely family from Barcelona and well set sail for the Caribbean on 9th November. I cant believe it could be so easy, and now I have a few weeks to relax and explore this gorgeous island a bit more. Estoy muy contenta. Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum. :)
