It seems Beth had a strong Stage 4 which involved a lot more hills. Havent heard from her but she did well and finished in a good stage position. She seems to have found her rhythm. Her goal is not to finish first. Her goal is to finish as she goes into the final two stages...tomorrow starts the long haul...80+ km over two days. This will be the tough one so send her an encouraging email through the 4deserts site if you get a chance! Sadly her partner through all this Karen Faydherbe Rogers was forced to withdraw by the medical team due to a severely twisted (thankfully not broken) ankle which swelled up like a tree trunk!. Her encouragement and support continues as always....but with her leg up on a pillow!! Heal up quick Karen!
