It seems food laws and loopholes have got us and me again … and sadly I have recommended this product only 2 days ago as being additive free. Natural Mamma s son reacted to CARMENS muesli bars and after several emails with the company and a fair bit of poking and prodding on her side it turns out that there is SULPHITE in the glucose in Carmens products. Just not enough that it needs to mentioned it on the packet. Whilst many people I know wont be bothered about this being in the products I know that a whole pile of you will care as allergic reactions to SULPHITE can be quite severe and dangerous. You can see in this post I am sharing all the info direct from Natural Mamma. A huge pat on the back to this Mamma for not giving up when she knew something was not right
