It seems like, to me, the media is setting a terrible example for young females. The expectations for a females appearance is absolutely ridiculous and ultimately unobtainable. Even the women on the covers of popular magazines do not even look it in reality. It scares me to think that the role models for today are only based on their looks and physique not on what their morals, values, and goals are. I hope to see a change in this. I would hate to see this trend to continue as my daughter grows up in this world. As a parent I want to show her what is really important in this world and not be so obsessed with your appearance and what everyone thinks. I hope I can show her what is really important, which is her creativity, intelligence, wisdom, and how to treat others.
