It was 1973 when Assabet Valley opened its doors to offer Metrowest students an opportunity to go directly into the workforce after high school after four years of vocational education. Much has changed in the four decades that have passed since then. Today, the school offers seventeen different technical programs in five basic clusters, including Arts and Communications; Construction; Health Service, Hospitality and Consumer; Manufacturing and Engineering; and Transportation.
