It was SO hot out yesterday. I decided to cool down with The Ice Bucket Challenge. I didnt want to be a cheater, so I didnt get wet in the pool first. I grabbed my little buckets, tossed in some ice cubes, filled them with water from the pool, and stood about shin-deep on the pool steps. So, in case you were wondering - YES! The water I poured on myself was ice cold and shocked the phuck out of me! Remember, your cause or charity doesnt have to be ALS. I did the challenge to raise awareness about two more charities that I have donated to... Charities that are deeply important to me because I am a SURVIVOR living every day with afflictions that these charities are working so hard to help cure and/or manage.
