It was September 1999 when Habitat for Humanity founder, Millard Fuller visited Omaha to celebrate the 100th Habitat Omaha house built in our community. The kick-off of the week-long Building on Faith event was celebrated with a parade down 24th Street that included staff, volunteers, Family Partners and supporters. This year, Habitat Omaha will build or renovate up to 50 homes and impact more than 180 families through various Habitat Omaha programs like Roof & Repair and Rock the Block.
