It was a crazy night in NY last night on my way home. I was almost home on the subway when the train stopped at 137th and didnt open its doors. A few of the riders got belligerent and started punching the door because it wouldnt open. We waited for 10 minutes before they announced that the train was no longer running. Someone finally pried open the doors and people started to spill out onto the platform to find 30 or so firefighters with stretchers trying to pry someone from under the car I was in. Its good to remember that our small inconvenience may be someone elses tragedy.
