It was a day of learning about oral implants. Dr. Clint Norby from Oral Surgery Associates PC—Siouxland’s Maxillofacial Specialists, spoke to Lions about implants for missing teeth. Dr. Norby also serves on the medical staff at the Orange City Hospital. Dr. Greg Beernink of Orange City Dentistry and also a Lion’s member spoke about what he does for dental work after Dr. Norby puts the implant in. As Dr. Norby said, he does the ground work in putting in the implant and Dr. Beernink comes in and does the finishing work. Brian Pieper, Territory Representative for Nobel Biocare, spoke about the products and treatment concepts designed to give patients fully-functional and natural looking restorations.
