It was a very trying and busy day! However the fun does not end. Trying to get everything scheduled and taken care before the Big Wedding Day. Tomorrow will be a little trying. I have an outpatient surgery (nothing major) placing my Chemo Port. What is it? Well its a little device that they will insert by my right shoulder. The will make a little incision and place it. This will have a little tube which goes in one of my main arteries . Once its healed when I start chemo they will just attach the little IV. (Why not IV or Pills?) well this is the most effective way and really Its in Gods and the Dr.s hands. They want to do this now so it will give it time to heal and when we return from honeymoon and start chemo I will be set! So we have to be at the outpatient clinic at 8:15! That will just be another mark off the checklist to get ready and kick this in the ASS!! Attached is a little pic. Its not a huge port its probably the size of a nickel.
