It will be almost one year Oct 13th 2013 my brother in Law Eric Thompson had a massive heart attack on the job. He flatlined 10 times and was amazingly brought back to life barely living on life support for 3 months. He lost almost half his body weight from 220 down to 125. Machines were his life force and his heart was just to weak to pump on its own..Then another wrench thrown into the fire was when he developed a fatal mold infection in his knee. They almost amputated his leg but after months of fighting infection with antibiotics that took a tole on all his already weaken organs he overcame everything. Unfortunately he will never have full use of his leg as they removed his knee and replaced it with his fibula bone. Basically he cant bend his leg. Now almost one year later Jack and I are hosting his first outing from rehab... He is now up to 157 LBs and gaining every day. Everything does happen for reason and I know he will rebuild and be okay. Hats off to his recovery. Your new Journey has just begun. We love you!
