Its Halloween week. Here are a few scary treats for you to try. **Mummy Dearest** These are some yummy mummies, and you can have this sweet treat wrapped up in just about 10 minutes! Divide one package of softened sugar cookie dough in half. Place half in a Batter Bowl and add 6 tbsp/90mL flour, incorporating the dough and flour with the Mix N Scraper®. Use the Baker’s Roller to roll the dough into a ¼/6 mm rectangle on the Pastry Mat, then cut it into thin strips using a Nylon Knife. Place on a Cookie Sheet lined with the Reversible Silicone Baking Mat then repeat the process with the other half of the dough. Bake for 10 minutes at 350°F/180 C° Decorate the cooled cookies with candy eyeballs and white Royal Icing and see the mummies come to life right before your eyes. **A Quick Bite** Heres an idea you can really sink your teeth into — vampire cheese balls! To make these, combine 1 8-oz/250g package of cream cheese, 1 cup/250mL grated mozzarella cheese and 1 tbsp/15mL Sweet Basil Rub in the Small Batter Bowl. Line a Cookie Sheet with parchment paper and, using the Small Scoop, place about 24 level scoops of the cheese mixture onto the sheet. Place white sesame seeds into a Coating Tray, roll the cheese balls into the seeds then return back to the sheet. Use the corner of a blue corn chip for a widow’s peak and the rest of the chip for the cape, then add red bell pepper pieces for eyes. To really give this treat some bite, create fangs using almond slivers.
